Business Development Initiative Network
The primary objective of the Business Development Initiative (BDI) is to empower emerging entrepreneurs to successfully launch, manage and grow businesses that will sustain their families and impact their communities.
BDI has been designed to provide a comprehensive, progressive approach to business education, implementation, management, mentorship and growth. To accomplish this, multiple organizations are working together to provide different capabilities and skill sets.
The long-term goal is to create a movement that will support a training and development network in emerging markets around the globe. The Business Development Initiative has achieved significant success in Africa and is now expanding into Asia and the Middle East.

BDIN is comprised of several parts:
Business Partners in Action is a new initiative by HISG to partner with entrepreneurs to create businesses where none would have been possible before. These businesses have seen huge growth powered by the hard work of people who have been given a chance to succeed. Along with exciting new opportunities comes a new outlook on business with limitless possibilities.
The Dynamic Business Start-Up Project, or DBSP, is answering all of those questions. All across Africa, people are learning and launching new businesses with as little as $7! And they are using these businesses to feed their families, pay for their children's educations, and transform their communities. The results are amazing, and it begins with business, with giving people a job.
